Ty Hollimon has been a fixture at Holland’s Custom Cabinets for over nine years, joining the company in June 2015. As a Residential Client Manager, Ty plays a pivotal role in ensuring that our clients receive high quality custom cabinets tailored to their unique needs and preferences.
His responsibilities span the entire custom-cabinetry process, from initial estimates to final installation, acting as a project manager who coordinates seamlessly with both clients and the rest of the Holland’s team.
Deep Roots in Cabinetmaking
Ty’s passion for cabinetmaking is deeply rooted in his upbringing. His father was a contractor, and from a young age, Ty was involved in building cabinets for his father’s various projects. This early experience laid the foundation for his career.
While attending the University of California San Diego, Ty continued to hone his skills, building cabinets for flood and fire insurance companies. Upon graduating, he realized that his true calling was in cabinetmaking.
Working at Holland’s
Throughout his time at Holland’s, Ty has managed numerous projects. He particularly enjoys those with multiple custom elements or special finishes. He finds great satisfaction in helping clients identify their needs and then playing a key role in the Holland’s team’s ability to exceed their expectations—regardless of a project’s complexity.
“It’s my goal to always make sure clients know I have their best interests in mind. I will do anything within my power to make them happy,” he explains. “I do my best to create a connection. Clients are not just a number to me.”
One of the aspects Ty values most about working at Holland’s is the team’s collective expertise and dedication. “My favorite part of working at Holland’s is that we have a lot of very talented, experienced, long-term employees who help me make our clients’ visions for their cabinetry a reality,” he says. Outside of Work
Ty is married with four children, ranging in age from 8 to 16. He cherishes time spent with his family and friends, whether hosting gatherings at home or embarking on adventures in the desert.
