To meet this overall vision, Holland’s went with slab contemporary cabinet construction and incorporated custom, soft-touch drawer and cabinet inserts plus shelving to enhance functionality.

The cabinets feature a rich wood grain and soft, earthy tones that add warmth to the overall space. Custom inserts, shelving, lazy Susans, and rollouts accommodate everything from tableware and spices to small appliances and pantry items.
A full-wall backsplash enhances both design and practicality in prep areas. It not only serves as a design focal point, tying the entire kitchen together, but also provides crucial protection for the walls.
Natural light floods the kitchen through numerous windows, contributing to its open and airy feel. The design takes full advantage of the available ambient light, creating a bright and welcoming environment. Meanwhile, the sleek and reflective surfaces of various stainless-steel appliances add a touch of sophistication while furthering the overall contemporary aesthetic.
The large central island features a waterfall edge countertop that gracefully continues vertically down the sides of the island, creating a “waterfall” effect. This design choice adds a touch of luxury plus contributes to the overall sleek and modern theme.
