Holland’s Custom Cabinets created custom cabinetry for the Hillel Center’s reception area. The project included a reception desk and a reception back wall, both using a “dowel joinery” style.

• Exposed Surfaces: The exposed surfaces of both the reception desk and back wall were made with Rift Cut White Oak and Wilsonart Black Linearity laminate.
• Drawers & Shelving: The drawers for both the desk and back wall had sides, fronts, and backs made of 1/2-inch white melamine with a 1/4-inch white bottom. The cabinets included 3/4-inch adjustable shelves made of white melamine.
• Countertops: The reception countertop was made from Wilsonart Black Linearity laminate with a 1 1/2-inch square front edge.
• Hardware: The project used various hardware, including Blum hinges, Blum HK stay lift for flip-up doors, and specific cabinet pulls and drawer guides. The toe kicks for the back wall cabinet were made of 3/4-inch by 4-inch plywood with a Rift Cut White Oak finish.
