For the Qualcraft Slater project, our team worked on a contemporary cabana kitchen in Alpine, CA. The client wanted a clean, modern look, so we used a frameless Euro box construction with a 32mm system for the cabinetry. The cabinet style features horizontal matched grain, Querkus Oak Natural Vivace on the doors and drawer fronts, which were made with a square edge slab design. This grain-matching technique creates a seamless and uniform pattern across the cabinet doors and drawers. The project also included finished backs on the cabinets, mitered edge countertops that are 2 1/2″ thick, and applied fillers that are flush with the face of the doors. We built custom wood panels to conceal the refrigerator, beer dispenser, ice machine, and dishwasher, and installed a Blum trash pull-out with Servo-Drive for added convenience. We also provided and installed ten roll-out pan drawers in the cabana.
