For the JP Walters-Timmons project in Encinitas, we were tasked with creating a contemporary kitchen that was both highly functional and visually striking. The homeowners selected Cleaf LM17 Noce Daniella and Cleaf LK00 Makassaro for the finish materials, with mahogany and figured walnut trim to add warmth and texture. We utilized a 32MM Euro cabinet style with slab vertical match grain doors, and a 3″ flat crown for a clean, modern look.

We incorporated Blum soft-close hinges and undermount guides, as well as dovetail drawer boxes made from solid maple, to ensure the cabinetry was durable and easy to use. For the countertop, the client chose stone with a 2 1/4″ edge at the hutch and island, and a 1 1/2″ edge for the rest of the kitchen. The project also included a desk behind the island. We also created custom glass doors and added under-cabinet LED lighting.
