Holland’s Custom Cabinets worked with the clients’ independent designer to create custom cabinets, shelving, and storage space using multiple materials and finishes to achieve the modernized look and functionality desired by the homeowners.
We updated the cabinetry using the latest materials, such as Cleaf (a textured melamine product), to achieve a realistic-looking wood appearance that is rugged, low maintenance, easy-to-clean, and environmentally friendly, plus integrated painted wood cabinets in multiple colors to add a bit of contrast. We also deployed numerous storage features and organizers, lots of drawers, and lighting in the upper cabinets.
This approach resulted in a cohesive design that achieved the updated, modern look, added much-needed storage and organizational features, while also preserving the spirit of the original farmhouse.

The client wanted their new entertainment center to be the focal point of their living room. Crafted from white oak, this stunning wire-brushed piece comes with open shelves for storage/display, a large section in the center for a flat-screen television, and cabinets underneath. The custom metal platform matches the adjoining tables and keeps the center stable.
We knew the clients wanted their two offices to be functional and inviting. For one office, we designed a personalized layout with window seats and painted grey cabinets. The other office received custom Cleaf materials with a matching wood top.
One of the offices has an adjustable television space that raises and lowers on a lift to allow easy access and stowing. Furthermore, both offices include open shelving, cabinets, and drawers for storage and display.
This laundry room includes a large apron sink, a custom drying rack, ample counter space, and a designated spot for pet food/water bowls – all made from Cleaf and paint-grade materials!
